If you’ve been a longtime fan of my videos you know by now then you know I’ve reviewed many different smartwatches on my youtube channel from the Cookoo , Zewatch and iHealth to name a few. The main reason why I tried any of these is I wanted to see if I could find something that could track my steps and maybe even help track me in my sleep most of these were great and well priced but like I said in my recent bluetooth scale review in December I just couldn’t get them to track my steps accurately I mean what really is considered a step? that was my biggest question then and still unanswered in today’s review where I take a look at the Amazfit GTR 47mm Lite from Gearbest a strategic brand product of the renowned Chinese cross-border enterprise Globalegrow and is backed by abundant funds and resources. Suppliers on Gearbest are managed through a professional rating system to select top suppliers and optimize the procurement of quality goods, while at the same time, maintain the comprehensiveness of product categories. They provided me a sample to check out so how well does it work? lets find out…
Product Name: Gearbest Amazfit GTR 47mm Lite
The Review: The packaging that the Amazfit GTR 47mm Lite comes in simple black shell white box inside I was glad there wasn’t any retail tamper-proof wrapped that’s just annoying ,inside the package you get a charging cable and instruction booklet and the watch and that’s it , You only get one watch band but you can buy others HERE
So let’s get a bit of background info on the tracker, Amazfit GTR smart watch features a classic look of a traditional watch, it’s perfect for sports and business use. Its most prominent feature is ultra-long battery life which I can say lives up to it months without charging if you only use it once in a while if you are in quarantine up to 24 days for normal use, you could say goodbye to frequent charging. 8 sports modes to keep track of your health in different status.
Something I liked about this watch was the large variety of built-in watch faces to fit any occasion from the sporty ones to the more classy and traditional ones The Silicone strap was very comfortable with a premium look and sweat proof for the hot 90 degree days we had
One thing I liked was the watch sends a alerts to let you know you’ve been sitting a long time and motivates you to get up and be more active to get your goal steps achieved. When you open the app the watch syncs your results to your phone with the free Amazfit app on Android or Apple which helps you stay on track to a more active and healthier lifestyle the app you will need to sign up for a Amzfit Account to use the app
So yes this smart watch is much more affordable than the FitBit but is it even worth it? I would say YES! if you are looking for a fitness tracker that works with your iPhone or Android but don’t want to spend a fortune then this product is the best bang for your buck.
